Ocean Academy is a BSAC Premier School
BSAC is the UK's largest dive club with over 45,000 members in over 1,000 branches. Its history goes back over 50 years and it is recognised as the standard-setter and innovator in the field of sport diving around the world. Ocean Academy is a Premier BSAC school and Guy has been involved with delivering BSAC training since the late 1980’s. Qualified BSAC instructors work in both of Ocean Academy’s training centres and can offer both guided trips and instruction for BSAC members or potential members. BSAC is still the primary educator for anyone planning on diving in temperate waters and the foundation knowledge and skills developed through your early training will prepare you in such a way, your own confidence will flourish. The skill development courses in themselves, allow further advancement in areas that interest you, allowing you as much or as little as you wish. For more information on BSAC visit www.bsac.com
The minimum age for most courses is 12 years and all participants must complete a Medical Self Declaration form.
Whatever stage you're at with your diving - from beginner to experienced - we have a BSAC course for you.
Ocean Academy’s aim is to see you enjoy the training process, give you an understanding of the knowledge we teach and most importantly ensure your future enjoyment and safety, whilst making sure your time is used effectively and with course lengths that are measured in days, not months!
Please note: BSAC students above Ocean Diver level should provide proof of BSAC membership to proceed with your course.
All BSAC students must also bring all the relevant course materials, especially the unique reference number. Without this number your instructor will be unable to certify you and BSAC may not process your diver card or acknowledge your diver level.
