A diver's tale:
When Guy was working in Lanzerote, he met a wonderful lady who was there after the recent loss of her husband.
In an effort to boost her spirits Guy suggested first a Discover Scuba Diving course and after the success she had with that, an Openwwater course. Her enthusiasm was evident, as she said her good byes at the dive centre.
And now the gem of this story. Guy met her 6 years later in the Red Sea, where she advised that because of that week in Lanzerote, she had spent the time since diving all over the world and that she had "turned into a bit of a dive bum!", being happy with the memories of her husband, her new adventures including the Barrier Reef in Australia, along with all the great friends she had made since. She also confided she was now a diving instructor and how thankful she was for the Openwater course she had, when she was a youthful 76!
The pleasure of diving.
